喪中 in U.S.A

突然ではありますが、ワタクシはこの1年喪中であります。

I am in mourning in this year.

アメリカでは喪中と言う文化がないもので喪中ハガキなるものは出してないんだよね。

I never heard culture of mourning in U.S. especially what to do or don't.

That's why I didn't mail or email for notify to people this holiday season.

ほぼ毎年ホリデーカードをだいたいクリスマス前に届くようにお世話になってるお客様や仕事から始まって友達的関係になってもらった方々には送っているんだけど

Most of year I mail holiday card to any main clients and friends around Christmas time.

今年はそんなこんなでホリデーカード送らなかったんです～。

家族メンバー永眠メールでもしてみたらヨカッタ、今更後の祭りではあるが、近い将来こんなこと自身に起きてもらっては困るのでこんな mourning card アイデアをここでシェアしてみよう。

But this year I didn't for my family member passed away.

I still should email to them as notification of no holiday card, realized too late though… or people doesn't care.....

I don't want to happen this event on my life near future but I would like to share this idea on here.

理由としては、亡くなった方が悲しんでしまうよね、お祝いをしていると、

とか

家族の亡くなった自分のオーラを届けたくない、などの理由を記してあげると

納得、理解してくれますよ。

I am telling people who told me new year greeting,

that is

"I can't celebrate new year with you because passed my family member away last year

and that would be sad if I celebrate also don't wanna send you my atmosphere to you."

Most of people will understand that.
