Making KADOMATSU in last year of Heisei Era

アメリカ滞在14年目でコチラでは初めての材料の選定、伐採作業からの門松造り。

日本では材料も揃ってる中で手伝いに携わったことはあるケド、一から十までその時の

知識のみで一人で請け負った仕事。

思い出せ! その頃の記憶を❕❕

さぁ‼ これからが試練❕❕　

その中での知識、経験はモチロン, お客様の期待を上回るクオリティーの物を提供せねば。。。

んでもってまずは土台に巻く藁の稲刈り。

アメリカの鎌はカーブキツいけど使いやすかったかな。。。うん。 年は明けちゃいますが、続く。。。

KADOMATSU is traditional Japanese pine tree decoration for New Year.

My first time try out build 6 feet Kadomatsu by myself in U.S. includes choose and fell materials.

I have helped to make Kadomatu in Japan that times was already materials were besides us.

I am trying highest quality work from even minimum experience and knowledge.

My work is everything showing my appreciation to client who commissioned me and

offer my best to client whatever I make/build.

First I need cut straws as long as possible for wrap base of kadomatsu.

I didn't expect American sickle is that much useful… Sorry old farmers…

Drying some days in my shop till I use.
